My Easter Masterclasses are specifically designed to provide students in Year 11, and those in Year 10 preparing for exams, with targeted revision that builds on their existing knowledge and fills in any gaps before the exams begin. Classes are divided into two focused weeks over the Easter holidays, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the entire AQA specification. Students can opt for individual topics that they would like to cover or can attend five or all sessions for a discount.

Week 1: Mastering Paper 1 Topics (Ideal for Year 10 Students):

 

  • Dates: Tuesday 2nd April to Saturday 6th April 2024
  • Time: Daily sessions at 1pm
  • Content Focus: This week is dedicated to topics 1-5, covering the content of Paper 1. These sessions are invaluable for Year 10 students gearing up for mock exams or summer assessments and Year 11 students aiming to reinforce their understanding of these chemistry concepts.

Week 2: Comprehensive Paper 2 Preparation:

 

  • Dates: Monday 8th April to Friday12th April 2024
  • Time: Daily sessions at 1pm
  • Content Focus: Focus shifts to topics 6-10, diving into the specific content of Paper 2. This week is crucial for consolidating knowledge and addressing any challenging areas, ensuring students are thoroughly prepared for the exam in June.

Topic 3 – Quantitative Chemistry

Tackle moles, chemical equations, and calculations for masses and gas volumes.

Friday 5th April at 1pm

Topic 4 – Chemical Changes

Saturday 6th April at 1pm
